Community Active Center, Inc. (CACI) is a private, nonprofit 501C3 organization active in producing organic vegetables and educating individuals about food and nutrition. 


CACI provides a monthly subscription service delivering organically produced vegetables such as lettuce, herbs, tomatoes, roots and peppers.


We are committed to the production of high quality foods, gluten and celiac-friendly cooking classes and focusing on social and fun events in the Bella Vista region.


Why CACI?
 
The Bella Vista population of NWA consists of 11% aged 50-59 years and 31.7% over the age of 65 years, with females at 50% of the total elderly population. Youths 18 years and younger constitute 18.2% of the population as of July 1, 2021 (1).


Originally, a retirement village, 18% of seniors living in Bella Vista, AR, are living alone while 3% of Bella Vista senior households have an annual income of less than $10,000 (USD) and 9% less than $20,000 (USD). Twenty-nine percent (29%) of Bella Vista residents 60 and over received food stamps in the last year (2020) (1). 


Based on these local data, CACI has been established as a friendly local service providing organic vegetable options, gluten-free/celiac-friendly food education services, organizing social events, and having fun.
